Anyone successfully install the OEM Trailhunter Rocksliders on another trim? Specifically a TRD ORP Hybrid.

I ordered the two parts from my dealer PT228-89251 and PT228-89252. It came with the installation hardware in the box. There are 8 10MM bolts per side.

I went to line them up on the frame, and I can clearly see what hole the bolt is supposed to go in, but on my frame there are no threads for said holes.
The dealership is just as perplexed. The internal toyota documentation shows that they should be there. The only thing you need to do is bolt them to the frame, but I can't.

I'm really wondering if Toyota only welds the threads on the Trailhunter and leaves the holes blank on the rest of the other trims.

Again, anyone have success with this mod? Thanks in advance!

Update:

I was finally able to get the OEM Rock Sliders installed on a TRD ORP Hybrid.

Here's what I did...

There's 16 total mount points needed to install these.

The very front two mounts (LH/RH) nearest to the front of the vehicle, did have the correct threads. I was able to bolt the supplied 10mm hardware in these two holes. These mount underneath the frame next to the front tires. (4 done)

The remaining 12 holes were all unfilled with any usable threads whatsoever. These are on the sides of the frame. As others have noted in the thread, there are some scattered threaded holes in the frame, but none of these lined up with what I needed to mount in my case.

I bought a rivet nut tool ($40-60) off amazon. I'd recommend getting one that is right angle as there are some really tight spaces way up underneath the frame and body that you'll have to install the rivet nut. The long handle ones just can't reach up under there. You won't have the clearance.

I went with 8MM Rivet nuts as I already had some 8MM bolts and washers from taking off the factory OEM running boards. I tried to use as many toyota parts as possible. But you'll need 12 8MM bolts and washers if you don't already have them.

I originally wanted 10MM as the factory rock slider comes with that size bolt, but the holes I needed to plug would not accept a 10MM rivet nut. I guess you could always drill it out some if that was your preference.

8MM just worked much easier for me.

Install the rivet nut in the holes that you need to plug and bolt them on. It seems to be holding very well. I stood on each rock slider and jumped up and down and didn't feel any movement of the sliders. Time will tell how well it holds up I guess.

Can anyone with a PRO say whether they have threads or not?

Mine does but finding many difference between vehicles with the same trim level. Think it's new model syndrome.

Once bought a first year model Dodge Rampage back in the 80's and they didn't have all the door hinges welded. OOOPS.

The sr5 has threads but the orp doesn't was hoping maybe toyota would fix it when building the orp hybrid but guess not. There was a thread about this a while back

Thanks for all the responses. Did not see the other post.
What is weird is on the driver side there are 4 threads, and on the passenger side 2 threads. The remaining ones of the 16 needed are blank.
Would welding the sliders to the frame be an option? Any opinions on that? I see maybe “blind bolts” might work too. Any recs on that?

Seems like the best option will be aftermarket then since they are supplying for threaded and unthreaded frames. I wanted to do the OEM ones as well but guess when I get my 4R I will have to check out my frame

Westcott Designs is sending their kits with Blind Bolts for frames that are not threaded.

So, this seems to be a pretty big QC issue. The left and right side of my PRO have different threaded holes. Not all are the same and it seems a bit random. Below are pics for the Driver side, from front to back and then I'll do another post for the passenger side.
