@Ericd6972 this looks awesome! I see that the camera is in the same position, does this mean that the camera only changes position if you get the light bar as well?
Did you just have to connect the 3d printed bracket to the new grill? And what modification did you have to do to make that work?

So many questions sorry haha
Yes, since I didn't do the light bar, the camera could stay in its factory position. All I needed to do was make the holes on the bracket a little bigger so that they would lineup With the holes on the grill, also I had to notch a corner of the bracket so the grill would fit in all the way. If you do the install, you will definitely see what needs to be done. The hard part is getting the old grille out of the front bumper once you have everything apart.

What’s the downside of just not installing the fake camera and its mounting bracket? Just the small open circle?

Rave makes it seem like a simple trip to the dealer for a module update to get images back inline is all you need to move the camera as part of this. Is that real life? Has anyone ever had that done?

I’m leaning toward just doing the top grill and filler like @Ericd6972 since it looks amazing but curious.

So did you just follow the Rave Off-road YouTube video, @Ericd6972 ? What’s the big opportunity for messing up? Breaking clips?

I did a grill swap on my 5th Gen, but this looks much more involved.

I honestly didn't follow anything. I just went for it. I work on cars for a living, so have an idea for how things come apart. I would say yes The main thing is breaking clips. Just be very patient and you will be OK and make sure you have a good wide open work area. Something you can lay your bumper on without getting scratched.

Dealer I got mine at said they haven’t done it yet but don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Dealer comment was the wiring harness which rave solved. Rave pre order seems pricy but kinda willing to pay to play so I can have that light bar placement. It’s so clean

Can you fill the blank spot after it’s put back together. Or you have to tear it apart again?
If you were to fill it the way I did it would need to come back apart

This. Looks. Amazing.
Pulling the trigger on this now. I think you did the research work in another thread but just to make sure, is this the right part number?

Grille Sub Assembly Rad - Toyota (53101-35160)
so wait, is this a direct part order from a Toyota dealership? I thought most people were saying you had to have a Pro VIN number to be able to order one like this?
