I didn't see this until 25 minutes into the show. I looked online and they don't have this week's show stories and order up yet to see. It wasn't in the 2nd half. Must have been in the first 25 minutes. Listening to Wilder Woods at the end was cool.

Great! I’m really looking forward to it!

Friends, Family and neighbors that have reviewed or been introduced to Scout Motors (usually by me) tell me they wish Scout would make a mid size like the Chevy Colorado or Toyota’s prototype mid size BEV with a mid gate. I tell them it’s hard to be all things to all people. But then I tell them that Scout Motors is listening!

Advertisement is what Scout needs! Seems they should've talked about EREV more especially to help pull in some range anxiety people/electric nay-sayers, but all in all great way to get the Scout name out there and relate that to some cool history.

Scout has to start somewhere. I think their 2 first vehicles have potential strong markets. Hard to say how well the common platform will adapt to future vehicles. You need wheelbase (both length and width especially given there is a frame between the wheels) for the batteries. They need rear overhang for the harvester. That said, probably a lot of the electrical and software does not really care about the actual platform - so perhaps there is room to adopt to other styles of vehicles eventually.

I don't know of many car companies that start with 2 related vehicles and never expand their lines afterwards. It is easy enough to see a few potential additional vehicles off their current platform (Full 3rd row of seating, full short bed pickup (as opposed of abbreviated bed crew cab), maybe 2 door options). Depending on the success of the Ramcharger - they might even be able to address it as well (a true towing EV, with a super Harvester option). All though, all of these might be competing for some of the same sales. I highly suspect their factory however can easily adapt to future independent lines in the future, once that future is secured by the success of the initial launch and a couple years of popularity.

Jeep Cherokee took the market over because they offered a 4 door.

That Scout commercial reminds me of this commercial featuring a Bronco:

Filmed in Potrero Valley on the spot where my MB Gull Wing story happened.

I feel for Scott Keough having to tapdance around the political and economic situation here. If tariffs end up increases the price of new vehicles by $12k as some predict (and EV tax credits disappear) Scout might find itself in some peril. I'm sure many others feel differently but if/when the price increases twenty grand, I'm out. Being backed by a large European company could help, or hurt. Who knows? Also not great is Scouts competition being marketed on the front lawn of the Whitehouse by POTUS. What a mess!

I agree, people bailing when we're still two years out and an unstable political climate, which sadly could impact production of these vehicles. We can't continue to bury our heads in the sand that this company is up against some serious uphill battles but I'm completely pulling for Scout!
