Got this license plate holder to avoid drilling holes in the bumper

https://a.co/d/1bZTNhf

It works well if you thigten each side just enough by hand. Some modification would be to cut the slots slightly more towards the inside.
Also a nylon nut in the back so it won't fall off.

PLEASE DO IT BY HAND. if you use a drill it my crush your grill

nice bracket but bad placement area. cuts off the fogs lights and light bar slightly and will look really odd/out of place due to placement location.

but thats my opinion.

only thing i can think off

1. move the mount point more to the drivers wheels horizontally
2. move the mount point upwards

move the plate holder so the bolts mount in the yellow locations.

Trust me guys I tried everything to move it out of the way of anything but it would either not grab the grill or be too loose

I would be able to rise the bracket slightly high but as you can see the two screws that are together in the middle cant be moved separately. What I can do is move the plate higher so put both screws together to the yellow spots you mentioned. I will post a pics later today.

If I don’t have my PhD, will I still be able to install it?

Try flipping the license plate bracket upside down.

I'm now considering the ideas of mounting with super strong rubber coated magnets to the front bumper...or mounting with suction cups to the inside of the windshield. Has anyone here ever tried either of these options?
