A dealership not to be named was charging $325 for running boards and 850 for a moonroof on a limited, which is included in the limited package
shame!

Any new insights on Comfort and/or Soort modes? I've been checking and rechecking, here, for your update since not many Limiteds have been delivered in my region.

i have tested comfort mode, and it does have a noticeable difference.

it softens up suspension enough to take more of the bumps out of the ride.

i have not tested sport mode, but ill do that today and give my feed back on it.

Did your gas limited have a trailer brake controller? I thought the limited came with a tow tech package but they shuffled some things around on the Canadian build page.

Tested Sport Mode, the suspension deff tightens up as well as the steering… the engine noise changes to sound “meaner” i think

Nice Ride.!! It looks spectacular in black. Probably the best color for the Limited.
Quick Question: Does it have dual climate control?
I cannot figure Why TF Toyota would not put dual climate control in every model. I can't cost that much more.. In fact, it may cost less if they just had one module for everything. SMH 🤔

Saw a dealership that they itemized both as "options" but was not added on top of the msrp. I did some math and compared it to the build I made on the toyota website, it actually matched the price on the toyota build site and the dealership

spare tire size

IMG_3304.jpeg
That's a different size from the other 4 tires, correct? Looks like if someone is interested in the Limited, he would need to purchase another tire+wheel to put it as a spare. I wonder if one can do it at purchase time and get a refund for the smaller spare.

I assume the spare is for short distances and won’t affect the truck with it being a different size? I thought you were never to use a different size tire on a 4WD vehicle? Anyone ?

I don't see a reason why one would not be able to purchase a matching 265/55R20 and replace the spare with it. One of the main points of having an offroad capable vehicle is a full size spare that gets rotated with your other tires in case you need it. The LC250 LC trim has a matching 265/60R20 spare underneath it, so hopefully the 4Runner should be able to fit a correct size spare as well.

245/75R17 is the exact same diameter as Limited/Platinum/Sport stock size. I don't think steelies come in 20s.

The width difference is curious, why they wouldn't just use 265/70R17 to get the same width is a weird decision.

Yeah, they're clearly not tailoring the Limited/Platinum trim as offroad oriented - even though having full time 4WD is superior IMO. They want people to "move up" to the LC250 if you want all the goodies.

Is it difficult to purchase a matching wheel? If you look up the owner manuals for the Land Cruisers, the spare gets rotated in with your scheduled rotation service.

I can imagine that it may be easier to look online for takeoffs. When I was looking for part numbers for the taco Prerunner, even the parts catalog for that 2024 model was spotty and incomplete as to wheels. I need to check again but I'm pretty sure those parts websites are still largely empty for 25 4R

Interesting that 5 wheel rotation is Toyota's official recommendation for LC.

This is for the LC250:

It make sense since they are all full time 4WD vehicles. Having your spare sit without use is a waste of money, since it will expire after a certain amount of time anyway regardless of whether you use it or not. Having it rotated in effectively means that you will have a 20% lifetime increase compared to just rotating 4 tires.
