@Hobb3s Thank you! Those headlights are fantastic.

@Nodak You are correct. I picked up my 4Runner today and the headlights do say 4Runner on the side, but they don't have a "4Runner" that lights up like in the premium trims. I'm mostly after the LED DRL strip and just didnt want the headlights on my ORP to say "Pro" or "Trailhunter"

Congratz on the purchase!

How's the interior quality and feel? I'm still waiting for a Limited and Platinum trim to show up so I can sit in it and get a feel for the interior. I sat in a SR5 trim 2 weeks ago and was pretty bummed at how much plastic there was in the interior, everything felt kind of cheap and the base infotainment screen looked tiny. Then again, it is a base trim. I'm hoping the Limited and Platinum trims feel more luxurious.

If there is a Tacoma Limited near you then go look at it. They are almost identical and you can get a feel for the set up and interior. The interior pictures shown above look exactly like my Tacoma. You wouldn't get a good idea of the backseat room but everything up front is very similar.

IMO the interior is really nice, the heated and ventilated seats work really well, seats feel really comfortable, and theres a bunch of soft touch along the doors. the dash is still hard plastic but it looks good with the interior.

i haven't sat in the base trim, so i cant compare. but i really like it so far..

I put down a $1000 deposit on a Limited trim with no date or idea of delivery. I keep checking on the inventory page from the Toyota site for the exact model with the options that I want, and I noticed some dealerships are charging for things that come standard on the Limited trim. Is that normal or more games that dealerships are playing?

mine was sold at msrp, but had to pay a “admin” fee with a included package.. if it’s standard id call them out on it… and look for other dealerships that dont play those games

A dealership not to be named was charging $325 for running boards and 850 for a moonroof on a limited, which is included in the limited package
What did you tell them and did they take the charges off? I've seen that from 2 different dealerships now. Not sure if this is a common thing.

Hey All,

I took possession of my Limited allocation yesterday wanted to post some photos as well as my initial impression of the vehicle.

I had initial concerns about the 4 cylinder turbo, but it has plenty of power and giddy up. getting up to speed on they highway is not difficult at all.

the AVS suspension is really nice, however due to the 20 in wheel i do feel the road in city driving a bit more than my previous jeep grand cherokee. once i have ran through these initial tires i will look to get something with a bit taller sidewall, but that being said the ride on the highway and city is extremely smooth.

i think i need to break in the suspension a little more, as i continue to drive, it seems to be getting a little softer

Compared to my 2012 Grand Cherokee it has more of a “truck” feel

The leather seats are extremely comfortable as well as the driving position of them. the heated and ventilated seats are a really nice touch, this is my first vehicle with them, so i cannot compare it to others, but in my opinion they are great.

there was speculation about the non-hybrid Limited not having 4 low or a center locking diff, I can confirm it has both

I have not tried the different drive modes yet but will follow up once i have tried the Sport and comfort modes, i would be curious to see if the comfort mode softens up the suspension enough to erase more of the bumps felt driving around in the city. - will test and confirm later

while its not the "Off Road" focused model i have no doubts that it would be able to handle off road trails with ease... I'm not trying to go rock crawling with it but it should handle moderate trails if you wanted to take it on them, i would recommend bigger tires and a better skid plate first though. - im planning to take her to the trails some time this weekend to see the capability.

my only dislike is the Auto Stop Start feature... but it can be turned off at the press of a button and as some one has already posted there is an easy mod to turn off ASS on engine start.

If you have questions feel free to ask ill do my best to answer what i can.

Any new insights on Comfort and/or Soort modes? I've been checking and rechecking, here, for your update since not many Limiteds have been delivered in my region.
