Installed on my Underground 2025 SR5. I'm going to a certain look. I'm not trying to have look off-roady at the moment. This is pretty much my daily. But I do want that little poke. No rubbing but pretty close to the mudflaps when turning all the way. I don't want to remove the mudflaps. Not for now at least.

I will install Rought Country leveling kit soon.

great post. im kinda in the same boat. I have mudflaps and dont want to take them off also. plan on doing the RC lift kit. I have on order 18x8 +45 off set wheels and have been going back and forth on what size tires to get... either 275 or 265 both are 70/18

Any insight?

I’m thinking about 265/70/r18 for my Sport. I have OEM mud flaps and I am pretty sure that they won’t rub. Should I chance a 275/70/r18? Anyone know for sure?

I run 275/70/18 and the mud flaps will rub. Mine were taken off as well as the part behind it, I think it's called safety something. They also rubbed at full lock in the front very slightly so I pushed in the liner to give them clearance. Will install the rough country 2in lift in a few weeks and won't be an issue but stock 275/70/18 do rub slightly. Offset does make a difference as well, mine at +18.

Rear of the front tire with flaps removed and safty thing removed

Thanks. I’ll go with the 265/70/18. I don’t want to lose my mud flaps as they are protecting the body because we travel on a gravel road everyday. I appreciate you.

I was going to show you Relim's post actually. Beat me to it. You're going to install rough country leveling kit correct? I think you should be ok after. In my opinion, 265/70/18 still rub either way without the lift. 265/70/18 either way will be taller. As far as looks, 265/70/18 might be pushed in more because of your offset. I was originally deciding to go with 285/65/18 instead of 275/65/18. But I wanted that little poke. And I'm glad I stick with 275 because I got about close to an inch poke with +18 offset. If you want thr wider look, I would go with 275. But do it after the lift. I originally thought about doing both at the same time. But I held off on the RC leveling kit because I wanted to see how it look first. Now I want the 1.5 lift.

My opinion, I would go with the 275/70/18 if you want to at least have that flushed look.

Go check Mjmotorsports808 on IG. They're based off hawaii. And thier build is the reason why I went with 275/65/18. It will at least give you some ideas.

I ordered the Rough Country 2" Levelling kit + 18x8 +45 ET wheels with the 275/70/18 tires. I should be good with the Mudflaps still being installed after all the posts I have read. The setup is a truly 33in and the rims should be sitting pretty flush with the fenders.

With the leveling kit. IMO, should be good. I'm happy with the 32 for now. But my next tire change, I might try 33's. I think 275 will be perfect instead on 265. Specially with yout offset. Mine with 275 +18 offset is poking about an inch. With yours, it should definitely sit flushed IMO. Can't wait to see what you did. I do have a leveling kit now, I might install it next week.
