I should get my everest trd off-road premium next month which upgraded to factory TRD 18" rim(265/70/R18, correct?) that i like.

I am wondering two cases:

1. Without any modifications, what's the largest or widest tire it can fit?

2. With small change, like 2" front level upgrade, what's the largest or widest tire it can fit.

Thanks!

You can fit 285/70R17 (33's) on the stock 17" TRD Off-Road wheels, with no lift required. This owner fit BFG KO3 285/70R17 on his TRD OR Tacoma (same wheels and suspension specs as 2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road). No lift or other mods were needed and no rubbing.

Hey everyone, just want to share my taco with KO3 285/70/17 C Load rated tires on stock off-road wheels. The tires ride so smooth with no vibrations. I was worried cause the KO2 I had before on the 3rd gen taco had vibration issues. From initial drives, I do feel the added weight of the tires when I’m accelerating but it’s still has strong speed. When I hit bad bumps on the road, I do feel it more but over smaller bumps and overall ride is smoother than the oem trail terrains. Overall love these tires and thanks to you all with your posts that made my decision. 🙌🙌
Those look awesome!!! No spacer lift or any of that and they don’t rub at all? I might not be able to wait til my oem tires are worn to jump on a set of those.
No lift or anything, and I couldn’t wait to get bigger tires on 😂

Ah sorry I missed the part about the upgrade 18" TRD black wheels. I don't think I've seen anyone go with larger tires on those wheels yet (even among Tacoma owners).

Why? Because of the 18" wheel size? Sorry I am a newbie of wheel & tires.

the 4runner TRD ORP is running 18's. I think the SR5 is the only 17in wheel

I'm also looking for this information. I'm looking to run a 285/70r18 on my ORP with the upgraded 18s. I will also be running the westcott lift but I want to know they absolutely fit with the offset of the wheel without rubbing before I pull the trigger. Rather not run wheel spacer
