Stay tuned tomorrow for RAM 1500 REV info! We will be there LIVE at the 2023 NYIAS to bring you all the details, photos, videos!
Nothing ground-breaking here. Talked about things other EVs already have like phone-as-a-key, frunk. They tried to hit the points they that they thought a prospective Lightning buyer would care about: Range, Payload, Charge-time.What a disappointment. NOTHING like the concept (as we knew) and they didn't even MENTION the concept. No pricing predictions at all. It's just a run-of-the-mill EV pickup truck with an option for 500+ range, which will likely be an additional $25K option. Cybtertruck is still my front-runner, and it's due for production very soon.
Just my humble opinions here. Probably 50% of the people in the livestream chat loved it, and 50% hated it and wanted the concept.
All great points. And yeah, this is supposed to be a "REVolution." Apple CarPlay and Android Auto should be standard, and not hard to do. These guys just aren't getting it.Nothing ground-breaking here. Talked about things other EVs already have like phone-as-a-key, frunk. Sure range is more...but how did they get there....MASSIVE batteries! That are going to be HEAVY. Real world range at highway speed on a heavy 229kwh battery pack will be interesting.
I thought the idea of disengaging the front motor to free wheel to increase efficiency was interesting though.
Talking about connecting your phone or tablet to a 10" screen with an HDMI cable was a big miss. This is 2023. No one is going to want to use a cable to connect their phone to that screen!
Yes it's on display at NYIAS and they are allowing people to open/view all around and inside the truck, including the frunk.I was thinking of going to the NYIAS, I live in a nearby state and have gone before. Will the truck be on display at the auto show? They should give Ram Rev Insiders a free pass to the show and allow us to get up close to it and be able to look inside and in the frunk.
Thank you for answering my question. Now I have more reason to go!Yes it's on display at NYIAS and they are allowing people to open/view all around and inside the truck, including the frunk.
So Iām at the auto show and the Ram Rev is on a turn table and youāre not allowed to get near it. Supposedly an email invitation went out to Rev Insiders to come and see it where we will be able to to go in it and look in it. But unfortunately itās not today. I didnāt get any emails from Ram or Rev, anyone get an email invite?Yes it's on display at NYIAS and they are allowing people to open/view all around and inside the truck, including the frunk.
